What are these pegs you speak of? I’ve put the rosin on the bow and still nothing just an odd bum note

I am landing in the same trouble of my new violin with no sounding. I think the Seller sent me very bad rosin. I will buy new one to see if the problem is fixed.. 😢

It seems complex at first glance however like most learning curves the more exposed to it the more it would sink in. Your knowledge of music along with your ability to convey it are truly a gift to all.

Most good to see you back! I am an adult who is taking violin lessons at my local community college through continuing education. Although I play guitar learning the basics of how to play the violin is challenging. You have several violin lessons already and I did watch one of those. I would like to see more violin as well as theory. You make it fun and interesting. Thanks!

Thank you for the wonderful lessons. I have an instructor who is very good but the exercises you do are absolutely TERRIFIC. I've just started learning the violin (I'm 73, and consider myself a slow learner.) I consider your instructional videos are supplements to in-person learning. What you do is much appreciated.
